Surfing 101

This is Kelly Slater. He's the greatest surfer of all time. Not, incidentally, a character on "Saved by the Bell." And (ahem) what he looks like has nothing to do with my admiration for his incredible talent. Okay, then. Class dismissed.

I think that's a picture of me taken at the beach last summer. Are you sure that's him?

Hey, Rebekah. I found your link on Steve's blog. It's good to see all my old B&N pals have a place to still get together. I even signed up to blogger so that I could join in the fun. Deb

Ah, 'Baywatch'! They hired him to try to give themselves some 'surf cred' - but there were EVER so many reasons to watch that show! Sigh!

Who the Hell is this Beepy person? Sounds like trouble to me.

'Baywatch' "jumped the shark" in season 1 when Jill was eaten by a great white. After that, it became much more about following the bouncing breasts (I never said "jumping the shark" was a bad thing). Mmmmm......I could watch Shauni run all day.

Hi Deb! I always wondered who "Beepy" was on Steve's blog:)

I stopped watching Baywatch when Parker Stevens was kicked off the show. He was always my favorite Hardy Boy, not that Cassidy kid.

I've been wondering who beepy was also. I definitely had her pegged as a troublemaker ;)

just for the record its kelly kapowski and a.c. slater on saved by the bell.

Also for the record, Jill wasn't 'eaten' by a shark! At that point in the show's history, 'Baywatch' was still actively courting the good-will of a whole bunch of state and tourism authorities, ALL of whom nixed a character getting eaten by a shark.

It was the resultant BLOOD CLOT that got her!
